Because no one at work really pays much attention to what I do all day and not only do I not have deadlines but my deliverables haven't even really been defined I have time to look up things like this. Between wandering around the office promoting discontent among my coworkers, spreading perfidious rumours about the company and those who run it, presenting worse case senarios to the VP of my department as the actual conditions of my project, threatening to quit, and telling everyone who will listen what a fat-headed jerkwad my boss is it helps pass the time.

America and The Rise of Theocratic Fascism
This is pretty funny and I believe distinctly American. Creationism? What century are these people living in? I have to agree with Ted Turner when it comes to Christianity. It is a religion for “losers”. They should read that book they’re always waving around and carrying on about. I suggest Exodus and Leviticus. I have yet to meet a Christian that dresses and wears their hair according to the rules laid out in the Old Testament. The punishment for not conforming is of course death. Should stickers be put in windows of barber shops warning people against any hair cut is not prescribed by the Bible?

The Craziest Man Alive
The funniest part of Mel Gibson’s film “The Passion” was the scene in which the Jewish authorities tell Pilate that they have brought Jesus before him so that he may sentence Jesus to death. The chief Rabbi tells Pilate that they cannot pass a sentence of death. This indicates that the Jews didn’t practice capital punishment.
Did you ever see the movie “Life of Brian”? If you did I’m sure you remember the stoning scene. I remember it as being pretty damn funny when I was 13 years old. I was reminded of it while watching Mel’s film. It appears that Monty Python were more historically accurate in their satire then he was in devotion.
